Our Story
It all started with a long car ride, a little imagination, and a love for squishies. 🫧💜
Squishy Spa began in the summer of 2026, during a family vacation in Europe.
We were driving from Switzerland back to Germany after an amazing trip together. Isabella had already spent more than four hours on her iPad watching movies, so Mom finally decided it was time for a screen break.
Instead of another movie, she gave everyone in the car a challenge:
“Let’s come up with an idea for a product—and see if we can actually make it real.”
Dad was driving, and in the car were Mom, Isabella, her little sister Julia, and her grandmother, Yaya. Everyone started throwing out ideas.
And then Isabella said it:
Squishy Spa.
Isabella loves squishies, and she imagined something that could give well-loved, dirty squishies their very own little spa day.
What started as an idea during a family road trip quickly became something much more.
From an Idea to a Real Product
When we got home, Isabella and Mom started experimenting.
Together, we created the first Squishy Spa prototype, tested different mixtures for the Squishy Soap and Squishy Dust, cleaned plenty of squishies, changed things that didn't work, and kept improving the kit until it felt just right.
Then came the bottles. The labels. The packaging. The colors. The instructions. The website. And all the little decisions that go into turning an idea into something you can actually hold in your hands.
Dad helped bring Squishy Spa to life online by working on the website and behind-the-scenes pieces, while Isabella stayed involved throughout the entire process.
She's learning firsthand that creating something isn't just about having a great idea. It's about testing, changing, problem-solving, making mistakes, and trying again.
Built With a Lot of Help—and a Lot of Love
Squishy Spa may have started with Isabella's idea, but she knows she hasn't built it alone.
She's incredibly grateful for a family that has encouraged her from the very first car ride—and for her best friend, Serena, who has been one of her biggest supporters along the way.
Serena has helped with social media, putting stickers on products, getting kits ready, and, most importantly, cheering Isabella on through every step of the journey.
For us, that's one of the most special parts of Squishy Spa.
It's not only about cleaning squishies.
It's about a young girl seeing that an idea in her imagination can become something real. It's about creativity, entrepreneurship, family, friendship, and learning how much is possible when you're willing to try.
And We're Just Getting Started 🫧
Today, Squishy Spa is growing one little kit at a time.
Isabella continues to be part of the decisions, the testing, the packaging, and everything that comes next. There is still so much for her to learn—and that's exactly the point.
What began as a way to get off the iPad during a family road trip has become an experience none of us will forget.
And hopefully, this is only the beginning.
